The air is getting crisper, the leaves crunchier, and if you look closely, you might even see a spooky ghost or two at your next showing!* With the arrival of fall comes the arrival of fall festivals, so today we'd like to show you a few places you might want to spend your time in the refreshing autumn air.

The Atlanta Fair
From now until November 2nd, you can visit a classic fair right in the heart of Atlanta. The Atlanta Fair offers amusement park rides, delicious fair snacks, and skill games galore. Pay it a visit and remember just how much fun a carnival style event can be.
Pumpkin Festival at Stone Mountain
Also until November 2nd, you can find yourself in a world of your own in Stone Mountain Park's annual Pumpkin Festival. This event provides special shows and storybook characters, adding a magical layer to the already mythical feeling of the iconic granite dome.
Woodstock International Food Festival
On October 10-12, the Woodstock International Food Festival brings a taste of the world right to you. Enjoy mouthwatering cuisines like Mexican corn, Greek kabobs, or even good old fashioned barbeque if you're just itching for a taste of home. The event also features live music and vendors to expand your horizons even more.
Georgia Apple Festival
See what the famous Elijay apple orchards have to offer with the renowned Georgia Apple Festival. Get the freshest apples you can imagine on one or both weekends of the event: October 11-12 and October 18-19.
OktoberFEAST
Get ready for an October feast at OktoberFEAST in Sandy Springs on October 18-19. This local take on the famous Oktoberfest celebrations involves Bavarian food, live dancing, and beer as far as the eye can see.
Nightmare's Gate Haunted House
Finally, if you're looking to leave the kids at home and get a good old fashioned scare, check out Nightmare's Gate right near The Zachos Team in Douglasville, Georgia. Running every Friday to Sunday from now until Halloween, this horrifying walk through a creepy, monster-ridden manor is not for the faint of heart. Better wear your brown pants.
