Happy Father's Day from The Zachos Team! We hope you're all able to spend time with your families and celebrate the great dads in your life.
Atlanta has plenty of events and recreational spots to spend time with all your father figures, whether that's a hike in the woods or a nice dinner. Here's a few of our favorite places:
- If your dad enjoys throwing the old pigskin, check out the College Football Hall of Fame on June 15th. On this day, all dads get in for free, and the first 100 to show up get a free gift card to Home Depot.
- For another free event in the great outdoors, the Chattahoochee Nature Center will also be open for free for dads on June 15th. With multiple trail systems, guided programs, and even a picnic, it's sure to be a breath of fresh air.
- If your pops is a fan of chugging a cold one on a hot summer day, check out the Atlanta Summer Beer Fest on June 14th. Over 100 beers to try along with food and live music makes this event worth raising a glass to.
- Or, for a more low key event, just take your dad out for a nice dinner. There's plenty of fine dining in and around Atlanta depending on what area you're located in. In Douglasville, you might consider trying a Zachos Team favorite: Sam and Rosco's.
