Looking for live entertainment in Powder Springs? Thurman Springs Park is the place to be.

As the centerpiece of town, the park and encompassed amphitheater are a constant source of family-friendly events. When you’re looking for a night on the town in Powder Springs, you usually won’t have to drive all the way into the city thanks to all that happens close by.

Here’s the rundown of all the events that happen there:

Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series

A concert series that covered several spring months, the Brown Bag Lunch shows were an invitation to live music that happened between noon and 1:30, making for the perfect midday lunch break. While these shows are over for now, they’ll likely come back around next year once the weather gets warmer again.

Splash Pad

From around May to September, the splash pad in the amphitheater turns on for a great place to cool off. Kids (and maybe adults!) will love running through the water on summer days to take some of the heat off.

Powder Springs Marketplace

The amphitheater turns into a market square with the Powder Springs Marketplace events. On the second Wednesday of the month from May to October, the park hosts food trucks, vendors, and live music in the evenings. It’s a great place to catch up with neighbors and friends.

Family to Park Movies

Also during several Thursdays through the summer, movies nights arrive at the amphitheater. Family to Park Movies brings big-screen entertainment right to you; relax on the lawn and check out some family-friendly flicks outside.

Sounds of the Springs Concert Series

Finally, the annual Sounds of the Springs series brings a lively feeling to the park. Bingo, food trucks, and live music await you on the last Saturdays of the summer months.

Overall, it’s hard to find a day in which there’s nothing to do at the Powder Springs Amphitheater. Cool off, jam out, and be merry at this wonderful live venue– and maybe even live there? If Powder Springs is calling your name, contact The Zachos Team and let us know what you’re looking for.
