While it might look unassuming at first glance, the town of Villa Rica has a lot to offer. Locals enjoy a slow-paced life while still being right next to I-20 for quick access to the city and other amenities. Most of the town is organized around one main strip, letting you walk to and from different restaurants and stores.
How far is Villa Rica from Atlanta? It’s about 45 minutes to get from Villa Rica to the center of Atlanta, meaning you’re just a short sprint away from the hustle and bustle.

The Best Attractions in Villa Rica
The MILL Amphitheater
Perhaps the central landmark of town, the MILL Amphitheater is a massive green space where you can watch live music, comedy shows, and more. It’s the perfect gathering place for all your friends and neighbors if you’re looking for an engaging night out close to home. That doesn’t mean the shows are any less quality, though; famous comedian Paul Zachos once performed here!
Cinema Tavern
For another type of dinner and a show, check out local favorite Cinema Tavern. This classic sports bar lets you quickly grab a drink and settle in to watch the big game on one of the 13 televisions around the room. It’s a great spot to catch up with friends or celebrate a birthday in town.
Gabe’s Downtown

It’s hard not to mention Gabe’s Downtown as a staple in town. Serving up fine creole cuisine just blocks away from the amphitheater, it’s a popular spot to grab a bite before a show.
Evan’s Barbeque Company

A short ways away from the main downtown square is Evan’s Barbeque Company, a lowkey establishment for local barbeque. It’s a great spot for lunch away from the main part of town, and includes a patio with various oddities like an old VW Bug.
Infinite Games

Infinite Games is a sprawling showroom right in town of all things gaming; video and tabletop. It offers a variety of digital trinkets like retro games and toys, as well as a main room that hosts live meetups. You can join in and play Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer, and more of your favorite tabletop offerings with plenty of other locals into the same thing.
The Olive Tree
Finally, something Greek! The Olive Tree has a few locations, but the one in Villa Rica is certainly worth mentioning. Gyros, tzatziki, dolmades, and more await your palate at this Zachos-approved restaurant.
There’s no shortage of amenities in Villa Rica, giving it a perfect family atmosphere. If this sounds like somewhere you’d like to explore as a place to live, contact The Zachos Team today.
