Adamson Square continues to impress, this time around with breweries and wine bars galore. You might not think of Carrollton as the beer capital of the world, but you might rethink your assessment after a pint or two at the finest locations the town has to offer.

The Best Breweries in Adamson Square
Local Ties Brewing Company
With a prime location just across from the AMP, Local Ties Brewing Company brings in a strong crowd for events and weekends.
Dream City Brewing
Another "hopping" brewery near the square, Dream City Brewing has a variety of well-crafted drinks for you to enjoy. They also offer coffee, espresso, pastries, and weekly game and trivia nights, so even the non-drinkers can have fun.
1881 Wine Bar
If you’d rather swirl a wine glass fancily than smash some beers with the boys, then 1881 Wine Bar is for you. A wine bar specializing in a finer palate, you can even get appetizers and pizzas here to make a full day out of it.
Crafty Rabbit Meadery
A ways south of Adamson Square, but located right on the Silver Comet Trail, Crafty Rabbit Meadery is presumably a great place for people who want to drink and bike, but please don’t do that. The meadery also has line dancing classes and other events, where you can expand your social circle with some fun activities.
Printer's Ale Brewery
A taproom with a family history of being a printing company, Printer’s Ale Brewery is a great place to kill some time while you wait for some copies to finish up. With clever names like “Cyan” and “Magenta” for their brews, Printer’s Ale leans into the whimsy of their history to create a lighthearted experience for the city.
Coming soon: Workhorse Distillery
While it’s not quite here yet, the planned Workhorse Distillery will occupy 202 Bradley Street, just behind the AMP. A gin distillery is planned here, so we’re excited to see how the town continues shaping up.
All in all, it’s not hard to find a drink around Carrollton; just make sure you have a driver.
