“We found the perfect land and we were like, well, let's just do it. It's now or never. We don't want to keep on waiting.”

Anthony and Jolevette Zito are longtime friends of The Zachos Team, and an integral part of Operation Christmas Coat. We helped them sell a home in Douglasville, and they’re now building a new one on an acreage in Carrollton.

“We bought the property last year,” Anthony said. “We were debating on whether or not we were going to build and when we would get rid of our current house and just kind of went for it.

“I think it was after Thanksgiving at our house we realized that our family had gotten so big. All of our siblings and ourselves, like my brothers and her brothers with their families were growing, and everybody was coming over. We couldn't do it anymore, so it's like ‘alright, let's go ahead and do it,’ so we did.”

“Our older kids have been getting married and starting to have kids. And we really thought that when your kids get older, and they move out, you downsize,” Jolevette adds. “But it's turned out that they're multiplying, so we need more space, especially because we love to be together.

“So as our family is extending and growing, we just felt like it was time. We've been wanting to have some land and build something that's more suited to what we want to do and need for our family and the time that we spend together. So once we found the property, we were like, ‘it's go time.’”

“I've known Paul since I was 17, so I've known him for 30 years,” Anthony says. “So it was an easy choice when he was building and he was doing real estate with our relationship, and knowing that he knows everything that goes on in the communities, and he's really engaged within the counties as far as knowing what's going on.”

When asked about the easiest part of the process, the answer was simple.

“The communication was good,” Jolevette says.

“Communicating about all the different people coming to see the houses,” Anthony adds. “I mean, that was wild. Back to back to back, people were coming to see the houses. And so they were just keeping us informed, ‘hey, this person is coming. Hey, I got this one. Is this available to go to?’ So that was really the main thing was just the communication that went on through it.”

From many clients, we’ve heard that communication is a key factor in the process, and as a result we strive to improve upon that whenever we can. This not only leads prospects to your home, but you to the closing table.

“With the negotiation part of the contract and just getting everything finalized, everybody was very communicative of going through that process and let us know what we needed to do next and what to expect,” Anthony says. “So it was very helpful, it was a very smooth process that took something that could have been very stressful and made it very easy in my opinion.”

“And then the photos as well, the team that they used to take the photos and everything was really good. They made the house stand out.”

With The Zachos Team on your side, we can ensure that even the most confusing transactions are ones that go smoothly. In fact, your property might even be getting more attention than you think you can handle.

“Be ready at all times for people to come to your house,” Jolevette laughs.

“That was the worst part,” Anthony says.
